TripperLife Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Information We Collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. That is the only personal information we gather.
How We Use It
We use your email address solely to notify you about TripperLife's launch and important product updates. We will never sell or share your email with third parties.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely on Cloudflare infrastructure. We leverage Cloudflare's global network and security practices to keep your information safe.
Payments & Purchases
Legal review required: the payments and data-retention disclosures in this section.
The sections above describe our marketing website and waitlist. When you use the TripperLife app and its paid features — subscriptions and paid itineraries — we and our payment processors handle additional data as described below. We require each processor to protect your data to a standard at least equivalent to our own.
Subscription & Purchase Processing (RevenueCat)
We use RevenueCat, Inc. as our processor to manage purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat receives your app user ID, device type/OS, purchase history (Apple receipt / Google purchase token), and last-seen time on our behalf. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or payment-card details. RevenueCat is our data processor; we remain the controller. International transfers to RevenueCat’s US subprocessors are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.
Web Payments & Creator Payouts (Stripe)
Purchases made on our website are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe receives your payment details directly; we receive only transaction metadata (amount, status, last4). Creator payouts are also processed by Stripe (Connect): to pay creators, we collect and share with Stripe the identity, tax, and financial-account information required for payouts and tax reporting (for example, W-9/W-8, and DAC7 data for EU creators). See Stripe’s privacy policy for how it handles your data.
Legal review required: Stripe’s controller/processor split (Stripe acts as an independent controller for some fraud and compliance processing).
Purchase & Financial-Record Retention
We retain purchase, invoice, and creator-payout records for as long as required by tax and accounting law (typically up to 10 years) even if you delete your account. On deletion, these records are disassociated from your profile and kept only for that legal-obligation purpose.
Legal review required: the exact statutory retention period (“up to 10 years” is a placeholder to be fixed per jurisdiction).
Withdrawing Consent & Requesting Deletion
You can withdraw consent and request access to or deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected], or by using the in-app account-deletion flow.
- Access requests include your purchase history. We respond within 30 days (GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA).
- Deletion. We delete your customer record at RevenueCat and clear locally cached data. Purchase and earnings records are pseudonymized rather than hard-deleted — we strip the link to your profile but keep amounts, dates, and tax data where a payout, refund, or legal obligation could still reference them (see retention above).
- Cancel store subscriptions first. Deleting your account does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription — cancel it in the store before deleting.
