Delete your Tripper account

What happens
This permanently deletes your Tripper account. You can't undo it.
After a verified request is accepted, your account is locked and you're signed out. We normally complete deletion within 24 hours and in any event within 30 days, and we confirm when deletion is complete.
Backup copies: Backup copies are kept only for disaster recovery and expire on a rolling schedule. If a backup is ever restored, we take steps to re-apply completed deletions. See the Privacy Policy.
Deleted
- You're signed out on every device and can't sign in to this account again.
- Your profile, posts, comments, likes, followers, places and wanderlists.
- Trips only you are in, and guide drafts nobody else has used.
- Photos you added to places.
Kept for other people, as “Deleted user”
- Published guides, and guides others bought, saved or used, stay available for continued use. Buyers keep access to what they bought, and new sales stop.
- Trips you share with others stay for them, with what you added.
- Place reviews and ratings you wrote stay, shown without your name or profile photo. Guide ratings still count toward averages.
- Messages you sent stay with the people you sent them to, shown as from “Deleted user”, with personal profile and contact links removed.
- Necessary purchase, payout, tax, legal, security and dispute records are retained only for justified purposes and periods, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Subscribers: manage store billing
Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription. Cancel it in the store you bought it from: Apple or Google Play. You can request deletion without waiting for cancellation or subscription expiry.
Creators: deleting your account does not forfeit eligible earnings. Final positive balances follow the monthly payout process, with the minimum payout threshold waived. Earnings become eligible no earlier than 60 days after purchase, after the relevant store funds are received and reconciled and required verification is complete, subject to valid adjustments and documented holds. You do not need to keep your account open to receive a final eligible payout. See the Seller Fee Schedule.
